“T-Towel?” Hinata asked Naruto as it ran through her brain.
“Ya, I took a bath, I was feeling filthy from all the hiking,” He said, getting up and packing his few items and folding his tent down into its pack.

Hinata thought that it was a good idea to take a bath, she felt filthy herself. But if they wanted to get to the fruit in time, they would have to go on, regardless of the… unpleasant situation. Hinata started packing what little she had, but noticed she was missing a pair of underwear. She began franticly searching for them. This peaked Naruto’s curiosity. “Whatcha looking for Hinata?” He said, hoping it wasn’t what he had taken.
“Oh, w-well it’s a p-piece of my c-clothing, have you s-seen any l-loose clothes around? Hinata said, extremely embarrassed that she could loose something so private, making her stutter even worse.
“No, I haven’t,” Naruto said, worrying about the guilt in his voice.
“Oh, o-okay, I guess we can g-go if you w-want,” Hinata said still trying to think where or how she could have misplaced them.
“Sure, lets get going,” Naruto said picking up his pack and starting to walk down the trail, stopping and turning around to see if Hinata was coming.

Naruto was anxious to get to the Land of Trees, find that fruit, and get back to the village so he could take Hinata on a proper date. So anxious that he was unaware of who watched them from afar, a porn loving Jounin, and a demon that kills anybody in its way.

Naruto and Hinata arrived at the Land of Trees a few hours after they left camp, and immediately began searching for the fruit. Naruto stood out in an open field, surveying his surroundings the only thing that was destroying the tranquility of the moment was a hissing noise that was getting louder with every progressing second. Naruto turned around just in time to be struck in the chest with 4 kunai, as a figure emerged from the woods dragging another with him. Naruto dropped down to one knee, his vision was going in and out of blur. He had just enough strength to pull each knife out from his chest, and immediately began to feel the wounds heal. He looked up at the figure that was approaching him, he had skin hanging from his exposed bones. He had armor that had been rotted and rusted on portions of his body, but Naruto could see his chakra, it was purple and emanating from his body as if he had lit himself on fire. Naruto was so caught up on looking at his features, he didn’t notice how fast the figured moved. Before he could react, Naruto was being picked up by his throat. And just as fast thrown into a tree more than 100 feet away.

The figure progressed on Naruto slowly this time, allowing him to take in the situation. Now less than 50 feet away, Naruto stood up and prepared to fight, wiping the blood from his lip. Then the figure was thrust away from Naruto, and where the foe once stood, an ally remained, a certain masked one.
